Our company
Stonyfield Farm was founded in Wilton, New Hampshire in 1983 as an organic farming school. Our goal was simple: to teach people that food comes from the earth and that sustainable agriculture is a food system with a future.
We began with a few Jersey cows and a great-tasting yogurt recipe. Today, over 23 years later, we no longer have our own cows but we're still committed to producing the best-tasting, healthiest yogurts possible, and doing some good in the world while we're at it.
After enjoying tremendous growth and success from very modest and humble beginnings to being the third-largest yogurt brand in the U.S., we have expanded internationally. Thanks to a partnership with Groupe Danone, Stonyfield Farm yogurt is now produced in Canada. Our yogurt is made in Quebec using pure, organic milk from local organic farmers and natural and organic ingredients. Distributed nationally, Stonyfield Farm is available for Canadians to enjoy from coast to coast. To learn where you can purchase Stonyfield Farm yogurt in Canada, click here for store locations.
