Sébastien Benoit has more than one trick up his sleeve! His talent, enthusiasm and dedication have paved the way for a brilliant career. At just 34, he has wide and varied experience in many aspects of broadcasting. Host, interviewer, reporter and columnist, his creative talent has also served him well in the role of director, and he dreams of one day becoming a producer. Sébastien brings sincere dedication to everything he undertakes. When it comes to broadcasting, he freely admits to a love of the art, but first and foremost, as he says, he is in the business because it is ‘in his blood.’

Sébastien made his début in 1994, as a columnist and reporter. He then hosted several popular Québec television shows, including Flash and La Fureur. His desire to explore the many facets of raw passion in sport led him to follow the Montreal Canadians for four days, and production of the special, Le Tricolore sur la route. In the summer of 2000 and again in the winter of 2002, Sébastien was determined to fully experience the Olympic Games. He shared those experiences with his audience by hosting Le Monde à l’envers, a live daily broadcast from the Sydney Olympics, and Allo Salt Lake, live daily broadcasts from the Games in Salt Lake City. Sébastien’s obvious love of sports is a natural extension of his quest for balance in his life. That balance comes from making choices that support a healthy diet – including Stonyfield organic yogurt – and living in a healthy environment.

Energetic, charming, friendly and passionate, Sébastien has a law degree and has been a member of the Québec Bar since 1995 (a fact that surprises many people). He is enjoying tremendous success in television as the host of Pyramide, broadcast daily on Radio-Canada. Sébastien spent time behind the microphone at CKOI until 2004, when he made the move to 105.7 Rhythme FM. On his daily show, he shares another of his many interests: music.
