Our Profits for the Planet Program
Profits for the Planet (PFP) puts Stonyfield's guiding principle of corporate social responsibility into action. Each year, 10% of the company's profits are given to efforts that help protect and restore the environment. By directing financial support to those programs that affect positive and meaningful change, PFP embodies the spirit of the company's environmental and educational missions.
Criteria
Projects which meet the following criteria will receive the highest priority for funding:
- Protect and restore the planet.
- Generate measurable results (i.e. natural resources saved, people educated).
- Promote Stonyfield Farm via sampling opportunities, collateral, media relations.
Stonyfield Farm strives to achieve both a healthy financial and social/environmental bottom line in all of our endeavours and we employ the same "win-win" approach to corporate philanthropy. Be it via financial awards or newsletter mention, the goal is to build mutual support between Stonyfield Farm and each PFP recipient.
Request for Funds
To request funding you will need to fill out an application form and provide a detailed project budget.
Required information:
- Information about your organization: who you are, where you operate, what you've accomplished, what is your mission, what are your goals, how you plan to achieve them.
- Type and amount of support you seek.
- A detailed budget outlining how and where requested funds will be allocated.
- How Profits for the Planet funds will be used and how that support might be recognized.
